Combination Coolers

Combination Coolers make for a compact and economic solution where multiple fluids are needed to be cooled. Aluminum Bar and Plate type combi-coolers generally work well in applications under 300hp or less. As the size of the cooler becomes larger, the thermal stresses between the different fluids can cause shortened life expectancy, depending on the design and manufacture. Bar and Plate Aluminum is most common, but Round Tube Coolers and sometimes conventional soldered Copper-Brass Cores can make for an effective way to fit several services into one common core where space is limited.
